David Goldin (M.A., Economics – Northeastern University) is a Research Analyst at the Center for State Health Policy. His current focus is on the quantitative analysis of State of New Jersey Medicaid claims data for various CSHP research projects. In the past, he has been involved in research support for a variety of projects including behavioral health carve outs and their effects on mental health and substance abuse treatment, risk transfer, accountability and performance standards in managed care organizations, children’s welfare (focusing on the National Survey of Child and Adolescent Well-Being), drug and alcohol abuse treatment, and several Medicare-related projects.
